Anyone else sprinting like they’re being chased by a bear?
I know I am. I’m at about 14.5k words and I’m determined to write more than 12k each day to finish by Wednesday. What crazy typos and plots have come from your sprints? Share them here!

She had wanted to get on the computer and finish up a history project. It would not be due for another week, but she decided it was something as good as anything to do. Elise’s mom didn’t even seem to notice being followed, even after we split and I cleaned the stupid test tubes. And Elise trooped through the kitchen and into the computer room.

It’s the nineteenth day and some of you have quit already! (I know I have, but plan to do mad sprints during Thanksgiving if I can get a handle on my plot.) If you’ve quit, look back through your novel and find the things you wrote at three in the morning and are embarrassed to go back and find out what you actually wrote.
Submit the horrifyingly amazing things to NaNo quotes! Submit from past or current novels. Or even submit a something that you said about NaNo. Descriptions or people’s reactions to your telling them about your novel. Submit why you quit! Submit anything!

Cabe smiled at her, “I’m pretty sure I just fell in love with you for saying that.

This was definitely one of those days.

“I’m not strong. I’m just really fast.” She dropped her pants to reveal that her legs were made of metal from just above the knee down. “I have special legs. I was born without parts of my legs. So they made me a bitchin’ speed demon. I don’t even have to ride a bike around town. I can run around the city faster than Foss can bike.”
Artemis’s mouth dropped to the floor. He seemed far more interested in her lacy pink underwear that didn’t leave much to the imagination.

Surely you guys have quotes now. You have got to have some good quotes. Everyone, show me your things that you wrote at four in the morning. Or the brilliant things you came up with at your brightest hour. Follow and submit!
Simply punch him in the face.”
She raised an eyebrow. “Would that work?”
He shrugged. “It’s always worked for me.”
“You’re a goblin, Puth, of course it did.

You see,” He said patiently, with the air of having to explain something very simple to someone very stupid. “People are annoying. With the exception of several that I have deemed worthy enough, most people in America are better off dead, at least in my eyes.

After just ten minutes, the sky opened up with a crash and a flash of light.
